My Summer Essentials

I kinda hate summer... I hate the heat. I live in North Carolina so during the Summer it's 95 degrees and 100% humidity. Yeah. Welcome to Hell. SO instead, during the summer I run away to upstate New York where the high is 85 and at night it gets down to 50 degrees. My parents own a summer camp up there so I get the opportunity to be a camp photographer.
   At the summer camp, I am constantly running around. I have to be everywhere at once taking pictures of the girls and everything going on at Camp. I love it and my summer must - have's definitely make everything easier.

1. My favorite water bottle ever -- FIRST OFF I adore that it says "Male Tears" and second it's really insulated so my water stays cold the entire day. Whenever I pull this water bottle out it starts a conversation. I love it and I bought it off amazon for $13.


2. Baseball hats --  I always have a million baseball hats on hand. My favorites are all from American Eagle. I can throw a baseball hat on top of every outfit I wear at camp. It's so nice on the days where I don't want to do my hair.

3. Jesus Sandals -- ok ok I know I know SOO basic. Don't beat me up but I have a really worn pair of braided Jesus sandals that I really love. I can pair them with shorts or my bathing suit or a pair of jeans. They're really light, comfortable and durable. Sadly. they're not sold anymore. I couldn't find them online anywhere BUT if anyone is looking for a cute pair of awesome sandals I guess I'd have to say Birkenstock's would be the way to go. (I have very strong negative feelings towards Birkenstock's but they are great quality sandals.)


4. boyfriend jeans -- I LOVE BOYFRIEND JEANS. The one's I have are from American Eagle. They're a dark wash, super high waist, and a tapered ankle. I could go on for days about these jeans. They're so comfortable, they go with anything because they're jeans. I love wearing these jeans, a tucked in t-shirt, Jesus sandals, and a baseball hat.

5. The only makeup I ever put on in the summer -- so this is more of a 4 in one deal. I don't ever wear makeup in the summer but every morning I do moisturizer, sunblock, (Neutrogena) tinted moisturizer, and I put Vaseline on my eyelashes. That's it. But the product here is the Neutrogena Tinted Moisturizer. I. Adore. This. It's just a tiny bit of color for your skin to make you look a little glowy. It is such a simple product but it makes a huge difference. During the summer moisturizing is soo important and so is Sunblock (Pro tip: the Vaseline is to make your eyelashes longer.)

IN CONCLUSION: Summer sucks.
